Today is my last day at Aeroground and also is my 24th birthday.  I worked there for two and half years.  I learned a lot of things and met lots of people there.  However, for the longest time my section had the worst schedule.. It was always random.  Sometimes I had to work from 7pm to 3:30am, have a day off.. then work at 6am to 2:30pm again.  It was very unhealthy for me.  I couldn't sleep properly and couldn't do anything else like going to a lesson or school, so I told myself it was enough and it was time to find a new job.  Besides that, Aeroground just had such a bad management.  We brought up the problem but they never care or did anything about it.  I was very disappointed about them. 

Enough of the sadness, I am so happy that I finally found a new place to goto which I feel that it will suit me more.  I will be starting at Schenker ocean freight in a week. The job  is set hours 8:30 to 5pm Monday to Friday, at downtown which is a lot closer to my house and the building/office is so much nicer and clean.. Unlike Aeroground, it was so ugly, dirty and old style..  The lunch room at Aeroground was a joke.. can't accept credit cards, company check, personal check and customer can only pay by cash was a joke.  One time I had to run to the gas station to get change for a customer, it was a "lol = laugh out loud".  Before the interview to Schenker, Cathay Pacific called me in for an interview for their flight attendant position.  It told me a day or two to thought about it which if I want to do it or not.  I chose not to be a flight attendant because I really don't want to be away for 6weeks and then work each week 4 days away, 3 days off here at Vancouver.  Since I am with my girlfriend, I just don't want to be away for that long and later working four days away each week.  I might regret it a bit some point in the future because to be able to travel around for free would be more than great.  But for the big part, I think I will be a lot more happy to work at Schenker.  I think is better for me and my girlfriend and plus I can get to watch the Canucks and play hockey a lot more now! wow!!

For my 24th birthday, I don't really have much plan to do..  goto work for my last day at Aeroground & take lots of pictures.  I do miss that place in a way but not all.  Then come home to watch the Buffalo vs Canucks game on PPV.  I have been taping lots of games this year, I can't wait till I put up some great clips of the Sedin on my website.  Yeah, I am lazy and have so much to do.. I enjoy updating my site though.  Sometimes I just need to learn how to relax and not stress over everything.. need to enjoy life more and be more happy.  It was great that my co-worker brought me to a birthday dinner and also congrats me on my new job.  It feels like I haven't had that for a long time.  Not sure what my girlfriend will get me for my birthday, I know she will get me a cake.. thats about it.  I do wanted her to be more thoughtful and sweet.. I really feel that is the one thing is missing, I can see she is learning tho.  Overall, she is very good to me and I am glad to have her.  I can tell that she really loves me but I don't know how to give her space, which created problems between us.
